United Kingdom is composed of four major countries that include England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. London is the main destination among the four, and also a major tourist attraction when it comes to shopping and nightlife. Other large cities include Glasgow and Edinburgh, which are famous for their pubs and cuisine. In the year 2005 alone, there are over 300,000 immigrants that came to reside in the UK. UK is also becoming an immigrant country just like the USA. Although majority of the population are British nationals, the population is actually much more diverse in the cities.

London is the most important city of England and the UK. In fact, it is one of the world’s chief business and financial hub. Wales remains having rich history and culture. However it is distinctive in its language and customs.
